Welcome to the Community Events Group

Welcome!

This group is here not only to give everyone a place to post their events that are upcoming but for anyone who has questions about putting on wine events, suppliers, sponsors, how to fund raise for charities, etc...

This group will share tips, sources, suppliers, best practices, marketing tips, and anything else that helps OWC members put on a good wine event from wine dinners to larger trade show tastings.

These are not OWC events but any event in general.

Any wineries planning on exhibiting at this? eSommelier is going to be throwing an afterhours event with a local high-end home integration company and is looking for a winery to participate in the event with us. We are currently awaiting approval as an exhibitor, but either way we will have a presence in Aspen during the Classic. Our event (as well as the Classic itself) is a great way to get in front of HNW individuals with a great interest in wine. Contact me here or email me (joe@esommelier.net) if you're interested.

Join us for an Exceptional Wine-Tasting in Bordeaux

Dear “Grand Amateur”,

We have the pleasure to invite you to an exceptional wine-tasting organised by the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux in Bordeaux on May 17th and 18th 2008.

We have chosen this event for its exceptional character as well as for the conviviality of the dinners and lunches at some of the most renowned wine estates. Enjoy privileged moments as you meet the women and men that make the finest wines of Bordeaux :
- taste more than 100 prestigious Grands Crus. Each Château will present the already legendary vintage 2005 as well as a second vintage from the period between 1997 and 2004.
. dine at Grands Crus wine estates in the company of their owners, who will present their wines.
. on Sunday, visit selected Châteaux will open their doors for personalised tours and brunches.

Whether you want to join in with your family or friends, we have prepared a “Grands Amateurs” itinerary for this special occasion, which you will find by simply clicking on the following link:
