Bulk Riesling and Gewurztraminer wine for sale.

I have over 5,000 gallons of 08 Riesling Wine made by Pacific Rim and also over 4,000 gallons of Gewurztraminer. This is premium white wine made in Washington state. I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction of any virtual wineries who might be interested in this. I have more information on these wines and can provide samples if needed.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all - we have wonderful boutique wines in our portfolio and we are always looking to expand into new states. Would like to link up with appropriate distributors as we are just brokers/importers. Any leads would be very welcome! Cheers!

Hi to all - acceptance of women in the wine trade has been revolutionized over the many years I've worked in wine. When I started looking for jobs (OK - I'll admit it - in the late 1970s) one gentleman, whilst at the same time passing my name forward to what turned out to be an excellent job, warned me against joining the wine trade as it was so male-dominant. There were few of us at the start it's true ... but all has changed. WSET courses in London used to have a tiny number of women, now I think they are about 50/50.

Today, there is a significant number of key wine writers/journalists and wine educators who are women plus a growing number of winemakers/viticulturists too.

I'm proud to be the sole owner of my website - www.winetravelguides.com (albeit designed/constructed by a man ...). Of my 12 (so far) contributors to the guides six are women ... but five of these are Masters of Wine and the other two excellent journalists - all of them most diligent.

Women buy most of the wine these days, so it all makes sense!

And, one of my best friends, Gabrielle Beamish is an excellent viticulturist/winemaker who has worked in wine for as long as I have and was also treated with suspicion at the start. Initially she worked in England vineyards, for a while taught at Plumpton and for over a decade has been in Greece working for Gentilini Winery on Cephalonia.

I've recently started tweeting - www.twitter.com/winetravel and have an occasionally updated blog http://winklorch.blogspot but most of my time is spent working on my huge project-of-a-lifetime www.winetravelguides.com - please visit!

Hello Ladies and welcome to the group. I do agree with you that it's good to have our own little corner for girls-only wine talk.

Hello ladies! It's great to see such girl power on this site! Since we are the "consumer-based" drivers of the economy, I'm looking forward to everyone's ideas & insight into how we can all help the wine sector grow in this crazy economy.

My company, White Tangerine, is a branding and creative marketing company that develops brands targeted at luxury & aspirational consumers. I'm looking forward to an active discussion - especially from this group! Cheers!

The company I am representing here at the forum is a completely woman operated company. We cheer the efforts of all women breaking the glass ceiling and broadening the femal represenatation in the wine world. On a separate note, our company has also just broadened our offerings to our clients by now taking on the licensing of restaurants in our local area. Most recently we obtained a beer and wine license for another lady owned business, a local restaurant called The Little Gourmet. Such a grand idea (all you women out there who also juggle a family life with blooming careers will appreciate this...) this resaurant was completely designed to service little ones with menu items geared toward tiny palates, fewer courses and quick service. Whats the best part? The restaurant is "parent friendly" offering a complete list of local and hard-to-find wines and beers.
I can hardly wait until the grand opening date when I can raise my glass in cheer to another successful entrepre-womaneer!

Great News!

Robert Parker's September 2008 issue has awarded 90pts to Marie-Brigitte Poli's 2007 Clos Teddi Patrimonio Tradition Rouge, and 91pts to her 2007 Clos Teddi Patrimonio Tradition Blanc

Check out the ratings on erobertparker.com or by clicking here for a summary of the ratings our wines received.

Nice job ladies! And I'm thrilled to join and share with my company as we're about 2/3 female of 30 employees!

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
