About Me:
I've been writing about wine (travel and food) since 1990 and for the past decade specializing in naturally made wines and wine technology. Right now the biggest event in my life is that Harcourt will publish my book, The Battle for Wine & Love (or how I saved the world from Parkerization) in May 2008.

Oh, fantastic! Our reader will be so thrilled, especially to hear that the recommendation comes from Alice Feiring herself! Things are good in Portland, though the rainy season just kicked off (good news: wine harvest season did too!) Hope all is well in the City...

Greetings Alice! We Wine Spies are HUGE fans. About a year ago I registered the domain, "antiparker.com". Any thoughts on what I should do with it?

I just finished your book and wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the read. I also found some substantial enlightenment and confirmed some suspicions, enough to scour our shelves to find a few bottles from Dressner, Wasserman, and one particular Bourgueil Cab Franc from one pair of Bretons that I remember making me giddy when I last tasted it. I now know why. Today I'm headed for an importer/distributor tasting in Seattle to sample Kermit Lynch's wares and I will be focused on terroir when I bring out the checkbook. We aren't able to buy books at a huge discount (a quantity issue) but we got a few and put them on the shelf at a not so inexpensive price anyway.

When did they send it? I would have noticed and of course read it. I have no problem paying for a copy. I would like to read it.

Hi Alice! How is the book coming along? I passed an invite to Jeremy, but he's away at VinItaly then his band's playing in Slovenia for Movia. Did you see the "We Don't Know What a Point Even Tastes Like" group?

Sounds fun, I'll book the dates for your reading. Terroir has some fun wines!

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
