- I'm working with many winemakers and want to learn as much as I can about this industry. Also, I'm a minor Wino and love everything to do with the bacchante experience; particularly my beloved Chardonnay! I'm originally from New Zealand and the Kiwis seem to have traded in their sheep for wine! Hrmph...hic!
- About Me:
- I am Owner and President of Concierge for Business and the Mother of one grown son who is married with one son. I'm the proud owner of a beautiful Mutt....ess. I am an avoracious reader and just completed John Grisham's "The Appeal," which is a compelling read that depicts the evil behind voting campaigns (timely)...or perhaps more to the point the greed of big money and the lack of conscience. I'm currently reading a lovely book called "A Three Dog Life." It's a Memoir about a woman who loses her husband to brain injury (he's alive but can't communicate and has dimentia) and must totally re-discover and re-define herself. Her dogs play a big part in her unfolding odyssey . They become her best friends and she learns to communicate with both the dogs and her husband in spite of the obvious language barriers. In ancient lore it is said that if one is out in the wilderness on an chilly night, it's helpful to stay warm by sleeping with ones dog. If it's particularly inclement weather, one might need 3 dogs; hence the title. The story is told in exquisite prose and the message is engaging and heartening.
I also like to hike, play on my computer, kibitz with friends, nuzzle up in front of my fireplace with a good book, tea, classical music and cinnamon scented candles. I dabble in writing with absolutely NO following but me and my dog. Anything cozy is in my life. I also love conversing with people who are open minded and educated. As far as a male love interest; I'm not there right now. After burying one husband and divorcing the first, a break is in order.
