I noticed your name connected with a Sake Tasting at Cork and Fork in Gainesville, Virginia - assuming I have the right person, would you be interested in speaking as a Sake expert for my organization - We're a 20,000 member wine and food group, the website is - or email me at [email protected], phone 202-244-3700, thanks in advance!

Well, that WAS somethin, wasn't it? First, the tasting: I did well. The only two that tripped me up was that crappy ass Cali Pinot, and the white rioja. But I think I described them well, and nailed everything else. There were people who really bombed the tasting in Philly.
As far as the essays, right from the start there were two I didn't want to touch; the South Africa 'brands' and Germany. I feel like I did passably well on rioja, very well on Loire, passably on the pinot noir, and pretty well on chardonnay. But really, who knows with essays? If I passed, I'm throwing a party in Philly. Opening really good stuff. You are invited, and should come, especially if you pass, too!

Whoops - well then, good luck tomorrow.

And for that matter, good luck today - assuming you do not go insane at some point this evening...

No, but big, scaly creatures were.

This is brutal. Too much stress. Who cares what the Kiwis plant in Gisborne, anyway???

I'm starting to crack.

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
