I noticed your name connected with a Sake Tasting at Cork and Fork in Gainesville, Virginia - assuming I have the right person, would you be interested in speaking as a Sake expert for my organization - TasteDC.com? We're a 20,000 member wine and food group, the website is www.tastedc.com - or email me at [email protected], phone 202-244-3700, thanks in advance!
Well, that WAS somethin, wasn't it? First, the tasting: I did well. The only two that tripped me up was that crappy ass Cali Pinot, and the white rioja. But I think I described them well, and nailed everything else. There were people who really bombed the tasting in Philly.

If I passed, I'm throwing a party in Philly. Opening really good stuff. You are invited, and should come, especially if you pass, too!
