Congrats on addition to your family, what a blessing. I live within walking distance (really around the corner) from Groton Market, a neat little wine store, so that's always a temptation for me. Regards, Sharon

HI Jeremy - Thanks for your comment here and for your kind comment about my blog. I will check out your site. You're based out of Waltham, hey! I often enjoy attending the wine classes at Gordon's in Waltham. Cheers, Sharon

Interesting. I hadn't considered Plymouth, or anywhere in the Lakes Region, really. You'd think, considering I went to school around there, that I wouldn't block out the entire region.

Definitely something to look into.

Probably central - the Seacoast is full, and Manchester/Nashua has a few places, but New London would be interesting, as would Dartmouth - though that's a bit far from my hometown for me to be comfortable there. I'd love to find a classic NH town with a central Main Street/commercial area, and create something truly unique.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you!

Have you checked out Butter's, in Concord? It's right on South Main Street, and they've really carved out a niche that is perfect. Interesting wines and specialty foods - some of the best cheese I've found outside of NYC.

Hey Jeremy, if you sign up for the Wine of the Weekend email on our site you'll get all the updates! Our print edition is taking a short break while we switch publishers, redesign and prepare for expansion, but all the online content will continue to be updated. We're always looking for writers too!

Hi Jeremy, yes very exciting and a bit "scary" at the same time. I'll keep you posted. Bud break is only a few weeks away depending on weather. Would love to have you guys come down to see the vines "waking up".

The Fulcrum Pinot Noir is fantastic. Good stuff! When your wines "awaken" I'd love to get my hands on some, so keep me posted and we'll keep in touch. Go Red Sox!

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
