Getting iChat to use all IM networks...

This actually isn't too hard to do. It leverages Jabber servers with gateway addons. The only trick is that iChat doesn't have the ability to browse/register Jabber services so you need a different Jabber client. I used Adium. * First, in Adium register a Jabber account to this server: inflecto.org * Once you do that then in the "Adium" -->"Preferences" --> "Accounts" highlight the newly added "inflecto.org" account (typically @inflecto.org) * Right click on it and select "Discovery Bro… Continue

Just because you seem to be curious.... South Africa could be moved up to July. Yes, next month. Which certainly means I won't be around in August.

I have to go make about 1,000 decisions now. Maybe I'll pop that Dominus I've been holding and think... :-)

This article is just a reminder the voice and the influence of blogging also includes some level of responsibility. That's all.

Just ran across this article about training (and sobering realities) for bloggers. Worth a look (and sorry for the long URL): http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080614/ap_on_hi_te/citizen_journalism;_ylt=Ap.gER2VQhihIszjc0.GWmas0NUE

Joel,
I had resized the image and tried to upload it several time using both "Settings" and "Change Photo" It did not work. I also tried to include the photo in this message (it is jpeg format) and that did not work either. So I am at a loss. Help

Hey Joel.... Where are you the week before Labor Day? There should be some kind of OWC social while I'm in town. I mean, not BECAUSE I'm in town, but the timing would be good. :-)

Since I know I got in under the 100 mark, I'm all about being a Charter Member. ;-)

I really stopped by to say that I've gotten way more out of this than LinkedIn. Not only advice on my future business but I also solicited two wineries for samples and both made the cut into the book.

(Book being F&W Mag's Wine Guide 2009, wineries being Retour in Willamette and Vare in Napa.)
