"Hi Laurence, The page looks great. The major problem I found is that if you google "http://norwestwines.com";, you get "Did you mean: http://norwestmines.com ?" Were you aware of that? Cheers"

Vintage Matters As Much Today As Ever

I read an article (actually several) not long ago which argued that vintage doesn’t matter anymore. The author (an idiot who will remain unnamed) proposed that the quality and technology of winemaking in today’s world is so high and precise that vintage is no longer a predominant factor in producing excellent wine. This seems to be a new trend in wine writing, with many bleating copycats following suit because it is the "new" think – vintage is unimportant. I cry foul and… Continue

Andrew Will Winery - World-class wines from Vashon Island!

Vashon Island is an unlikely place to host a world-class winery. It rests in the south-central Puget Sound of Washington State, passing its days as an unincorporated part of King County - home to Seattle. Bucolic in nature with vistas all around - views of Mt. Rainier, downtown Seattle and Tacoma, the Cascade and Olympic ranges and deep dusky-blue waters of the sound - depending upon where on Vashon you happen to be standing; it is a beautiful place.

Vashon Island still hosts… Continue

Walla Walla Washington... so what's the deal out by the Blue Mountains?

Walla Walla is the place to be... farm living is the life for me....

It's January. The stubble of the last wheat harvest sticks up like a flat-top buzz-cut across the dun rolling fields as I head toward town down the rural double-lane highway. An icy layer of fog softens the dells like floating ghostly pillows in the shallow depressions. Silos and barns, horses and farmhouses, tractors and trailers, fruit and vegetable stalls dot the roadside and beyond as I cruise this road I have… Continue

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
