About my company:
Dan Fredman PR is a boutique public relations agency specializing in wine industry PR. What you want to get from participating in FohBohWine?
I am fascinated by the intersections of wine/technology/communications. I want to learn more about how others are balancing the new with the traditional, both from a wine-side perspective and from a communications perspective.
About Me:
An academic in the communications field, I spent the better part of a decade bouncing between a career in communications/marketing and a career in food and wine. Since I could never make up my mind which held the greater fascination for me, I've intelligently combined the two into this PR venture, which allows me to not only feed my knowledge and passion for wine, writing, et all, but also to explore fascinating new technological terrain.

Hi Michelle,

I may have already contacted you about this, so I apologize for the redundancy:

Along with some other OWC members, I am putting together a blogging project called LA Wine: http://winela.wordpress.com/ (aslo: la-wine.com and wine-la.com)

Are you interested in participating?

Michelle -- Thank you so much for the kind comment. I agree, LA is strong on wine education, but doesn't have a large, strong contingent of wine writers. Here's to changing all that!

Cheers,
Callie

Hi Michelle. We're relaunching our www.womenwine.com site later this month. Would you like to get together to see if there's an opportunity for us to collaborate?

Hello from Washington DC, you described the herb growing dilemma equal to mine, my solution is to put up a shaded cover over the area and that maually each midday or morning to move the pots to other side so they simply get the heat and not too much sun throughout the day.. Food wine PR has also been my passion going on 15 years!

Hey Michelle,

There is alot of stuff goin on at OWC. I think we'll see a lot more oranization with time. There are a number of projects going on - many are very techy and many will also establish the foundations for real world events. I encourage you to join discussions and groups that you feel can benefit those types of events.

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
