Profile

Company Name
The Tasting Note
How would you classify yourself in the wine trade?
Retailer, Blogger
Where are you located?
Cupar, Fife, Scotland
About my company:
The Tasting Note is a wine blog that allows me to waffle and express my opinions on wines, things that are going on in the wine world and hopefully entertain a few folk along the way.
What you want to get from participating in OWC?
Fame, fortune and free booze. OK, I guess I'm not going to get that so perhaps some more readers, some writers for the blog and perhaps some interesting stories from other people in the trade.
About Me:
I'm the manager of Luvians Bottleshop in Scotland, with a 3000 line product list, with a focus on Whisky and old world wines. I started working in the wine trade at Oddbins in 2001, and moved to my current job in 2004.
In 2007, I started writing about wine and have few, if any, readers! Still, I persevere....

Sorry I hijacked your thread! I deleted the unrelated stuff. Have fun with the article! I'm curious as to where most people have come from too!

Very well written posting today. Sorry that Loeb had to get nasty on you. Your points were well made.; apology properly limited. Caveat any damn fool that would want a good review just because they give a blogger samples! There's a lot of us out here now. We've got your back.

cool! I really need to update my blogroll so this should give me the extra impetus. Not enough coverage of UK wine blogs so we need to raise our profile.

I read your blog, but never realised you were with Luvians - only been in the St. Andrews branch. Welcome to the OWC to another Brit - was that my comment?
