About Me:
I design and build custom winecellars all over the States and live on the Monterey Peninsula and in Sonoma County. I'm fifth generation, ranching family in California and after attending the University of Dijon, FR, I became even more passionate about vignerons, food and wine.

I return to France every year to remodel old farmhouses, visit dear winegrower friends and, yes, drink some wine.

Richard,

Thanks for confidence boost on going Rhone in cab country. Mr. Graham is the Rhone Ranger. since what...82? I didnt even set foot in california until 97. Anyway - we are having a release party on 3/14 to taste our Premiere Rose. The Color is absolutely incredible and the finish is really crisp with a tangerine finish...I am so excited about it. My only issue is that I only made 65 cases of it. Will you be at the SF chronicle tasting on 2/28 look for Dacalier there.

Thanks for the shout out! How about if you come back to CO for a little while and I go out to Carmel? I lived in S.F. for a little while when I was a Flight Attendant with United Airlines and would love to live there again but I have circumstances here that keep me from moving away!

I know I shouldn't be shamelessly plugging B Cellars but I can't help it because I truly believe they are exceptional wines made by the best winemaker in Napa Valley. Here is some more info about our winery:

"B Cellars Winery is a small production winery focusing on the art of blending noble grape varietals from premium Napa vineyards. We believe we have created a niche in the market in terms of combining the best grapes from the best Napa Valley vineyards to create perfectly balanced and complex wines. Our wines have been rated in Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast Magazine as well as other publications. Our winemaker, Kirk Venge, was named “One of the Top 20 New Winemakers in the World” by Food & Wine Magazine (October 2005). Our wines are currently served at Four Seasons Hotels; Ruth's Chris Steakhouse; The Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, and The Wynn Hotels in Las Vegas; and the White House (yes, THE White House) just to name a few. "

Visit our website at www.bcellars.com and if you want to try our wines let me know and I will give you free shipping! I will check out your website as well. I look forward to chatting more in the future!

Richard,

Thanks for the note. You mentioned having property in Lyons. You should see it, that place is growing because people can't afford Boulder any more.
This fall I'm getting married in Lyons on a mountain top at a place called Lyonscrest, or is it Lionscrest? Either way I can see why you owned property up there.

I'll be in SF and Napa over the next few weeks. If you're around, perhaps we could meet up? My email is rbakas@mac.com.

Cheers,
Rick

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
