Hi Robert,
Unified is always so crazy-didn't get to see half of the booths or people I would have liked to get together with- only two days for me this year-no seminars. Also trying to promote my day job business of custom crush.
Great to hear from you- Looks like I will be in Del Mar for Family Winemakers in March- a little closer to Temecula!
Stay in touch,

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the positive reply. I really appreciated that!
The beautiful thing about "wine lovers" (like ourselves) is that most of the time we can find ways to help each other. If you take a look at www.thewinehub.com you will see that we have a vast range of opportunities for that...
Do you have a wine-related subject in mind that you want to write about? You can take a look at the blogs that were already posted to have an idea of what is going on...
By the way, I'll need your e-mail address in order to send you the instructions on how to get started.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Best,
LA

Hey Robert,
Great to hear from you!
I have been deep into harvest (day job) and haven't had a chance to look at any of the blogger community messages- my bad!

Did you bring it in? How is it doing?

I use T73 yeast and very little new oak- maybe 5-10%. The grapes tend to be very smoky, and have nice mouth feel. I generally am using new oak just to round out some missing piece, but not be an overstatement. But the ones that have a lot of new oak, tend to be the ones that I see win awards from those that drink a lot of cab and not much temp.

Let me know how it's going-bring my first temp grapes in Friday- yippeee!

I asked about Ponte Family Estate wine at my wine store this weekend, and was told you no longer had distributor representation in Indiana. Is that correct? If so, has it been more than 120 days, so you can ship here?

Sorry for the confusion. I have not reviewed any yet. I added your winery to my winery links. I do, however, look forward to trying some when I get a chance. I don't have any in my cellar right now, but will keep my eye out for it today, in my wine store (free wine tasting) rounds.

I added Ponte to my list of wineries and vineyards at "2 Days per Bottle" (http://2daysperbottle.blogspot.com).

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
