- I am not a wine blogger, but have a fascination with them. They have piqued my interest in stretching my approach toward wine – I have learned so much. My personal behavior in wine consumption and procurement – and yes, enjoyment has been influenced by what I have been reading in the wine community of blogs. So, thanks to all of you that have invested yourselves in them.
I am currently a doctoral candidate at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. My research interests include developing methodologies that are adaptive to the e-world, both in direct and interactive aspects – from modeling conversational cyberspace to examining the social structure of the blogosphere. My dissertation focuses on wine blog structure in an attempt to isolate the cues that individuals use when determining if they will stay and read a wine blog, be influenced by what they read, and/or return to the same wine blog again.
