Dear Wendy - thank you for your reply. I have been thinking about starting my own business as a wine educator/ consultant to the staff that sells the wine in restaurants, bars and functions etc. Your idea for a marketing person for your wines here is SO exciting! I would like to apply for that position. Can you give me a better job description? I am multi-lingual, work in tourism, and am a certified wine educator! I also have a sales background and am a confident presenter.
I went to Jerez in 1989 and met the Royal Spanish horses and rode with some of the "Ginetes" from the Royal Spanish Riding School. Of course I sampled the Sherry and toured the bodegas... I would love to go there again sometime. It was more than wonderful. Thanks, must go to work now and educate tourists about Australian wine!!!
Cheers, Essey in the Barossa
