Profile Information

Company Name
Barone di S.Giuseppe dell'Olmo
About my company:
Barone di S. Giuseppe dell’Olmo Farm, is located in the marvellous region of the Marche,
at 250m above sea level. The vineyards descend from the gentle hills around Offida (Ascoli
Piceno), a small medieval town perfectly preserved and encircled by old castle walls.
The actual owner, the young Barone Roberto Nicoletti Ballati Bonaffini, moved himself
from Rome, to cultivate his Wineyard area, according to the methods of organic
agriculture and the realization of a new wine cellar with the best and innovative techniques
of vinification.
Barone di S. Giuseppe dell’Olmo has a very restrict philosophy to reach the best quality,
like a pruning policy which reduces the average yield to just 50% of the grapes, harvest by
hand and allocation in
"cassetta" (special box) in
order to preserve their
qualities and perfumes, then
a grape selection more in the
cellar, where it is used the
micro-oxygenation technique,
in which small quantities of
oxygen are administered to
the wine in slow and
continuous way, through the
walls of the barriques or the
barrel or through a special machinery, the “microssigenatore”.
The first label born is the BALLATA vintage 2005, IGT with a very special blend launched
in the market in 2007. The second label, launched in 2008 is HAUSTUS vintage 2006,
100% Sangiovese.
The total production is 29.000 bottles.
It is possible to visit the cellar by appointment.

Roberto: I have returned from a long trip to Italy and London. I am uploading a Word file of what my import company does and how we work with wineries that have visitors from the US. We are also starting our program for fulfillment into the UK fairly soon. Our program has been endorsed by the Movimento Turismo del Vino (are you member?). If this sounds interesting to you, I would like to talk further.EdM - TWH (MAKING THE MOST OF ENOTOURISM).doc

If for some reason, you do not get the Word file, please provide me with a direct e mail address so I can send it to you.

Ciao, David

Roberto, It is a pleasure to meet you. Does your winery receive tourist visitors from the United States? If so, how many per month?

Best regards, David

China Market

Our company is opening channels into China for exporting wine. We are able to tap an unique market for distribution but also delving into the regular market. High volume is mandatory, but we have an order for a smaller exploratory shipment. If you have a slate of bottles that you think would work well, please contact me if your wineries want to take part. Looking for low end and high end bottles. State-side or abroad. I would be happy to answer any questions via…

Looking to buy cheap wine for China

Hello!

My company is based out of California and specializes in exporting and distributing wine to China.

We are currently looking for any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot wines that fall in the $1-4/bottle price range for a client that wants 1 small order and one much larger bulk order.

If anyone with bottled and labeled wine in this price range and is interested in exporting to China don't hesitate to contact me. Also, if you just have general questions,…
