COBE, THE CHILEAN MAGAZINE NOW IN CARTAGENA DE INDIAS, MEXICO AND ARGENTINA
With the confirmation of its distribution in D.F., Guadalajara and Monterrey in Mexico, Mendoza in Argentina and Cartagena de Indias, the Chilean magazine CoBe (acronym in Spanish for to eat, to drink) announced the released of its third edition which will be focused in Coffee. In this way, CoBe makes its vertiginous entry in the world thanks to an avant-garde editorial and graphic design in charge of the gastronomy and wines journalist Daniel Greve, who is also publishing every week in the gourmet guide of the Qué Pasa magazine and is member of the board in the Círculo de Cronistas Gastronómicos de Chile (association of gastronomy journalist).
CoBe magazine is published every three months, with the season change, and has accomplished what no other Chilean magazine in this area has, to expand itself internationally in less than nine months to all Latin America thanks to its versatility and exclusive contents, accompanied by an extensive distribution in exclusive hotels and through strategic partners and a unique graphic presentation.
In Chile, CoBe is available in wine stores, bookstores, delicatessen, tobacco stores and selected kiosks in the most important gastronomic areas of Santiago and regions. It is available in La Vinoteca in Viña del Mar, in Café Turri in Valparaiso and UMU restaurant in Isla de Pascua, it costs $4500 pesos and US$10 in other cities in Latin America.
CoBe`s first edition was spring and the flowers, then it was summer and the water and now its third edition is fall and coffee with diverse and steamy subjects such as the black beers, coffee therapy, routes for outstanding coffee shops in Santiago, Montreal and Buenos Aires; a coffee timeline (from the Ethiopian to Jim Jarmusch), the influence of coffee in arts, three recipes with coffee created by famous Chilean chefs as well as fall recipes complemented in the internet with a step by step, a black music selection, high design objects inspired in beverages, enviable technologic devices and some brief but intense notes from the correspondent for New York, Barcelona and Buenos Aires.
In the 130 pages will also feature wine tasting -in special papers as usual- of argentinian premium malbec, Chilean blends, Latin American coffees and Italian mixes coffees; a nostalgic view of the journalist Enrique Ramirez Capello to the coffees that no longer exist: an interview to Nir Adam, the most important foostylist in New York; and an empiric column of the best cigars and habana cigars to go with espressos and cappuccinos.
