About Me:
My name is Emilio Saez van Eerd (37), a wine professional since 1990, living in Alicante, Spain. I worked for wine companies like Domecq and Osborne (I admit I'm a sherry freak). My company Wine Meeting Point was founded in 2006. Export and wine tourism services are our main business lines. One of the companies we collaborate with is Bodegas Tintoralba. This winery just started its own blog: www.tintoralba.com, the first cooperative blog, created and guided by Ryan and Gabriella from Catavino.net. We like to experience how this winery blog can influence the way of doing wine marketing online.

Darn it! I hate email, especially when it gets lost. When would you have time to talk?

Hello, Emilio. I'm interested in applying my strategic marketing experience to popularizing the wines of Spain here in the U.S. I'd love to discuss opportunities to work together. I'm in Sonoma Valley, California. Drop me a line...

Don't forget to plan a trip to the monastrell country (Alicante Murcia area), whenever you can

For sure - especially now that I know a local expert!

Thanks Emilio. I'm stuck in Rioja at the moment. (I think I have more vintages of Lopez than the winery.) Favorite sherry? Any faves in Ribera del Duero? That's next on my Spanish wine tour...

Hi Emilio, I have been interested in breaking into importing for awhile now, partially to broaden my wine knowledge before one day starting my own winery, any advice?
