"Extruded" is the process where the cork is produced as one long strand, then cut like sausages. "Coextruded" means that the cork is extruded as a two layer deal, in this case, a foamed inner core and a solid outer skin, much in the manner of coax cable.

Was that geeky enough? ;-)

What, dare I ask, is a co-extruded cork? I know various styles, but that one is new to me
